“Thanks to Aero Cleaning, two of the pre-AP chemistry students were able to go see Donna Strickland speak about lasers and her Nobel prize winning invention at the Linamar Centre for Excellence. The Women in STEM conference was help to gather a number of people in the community together to discuss issues in STEM and how they relate to women. The keynote speaker, Donna Strickland, was excellent, as were the other 3 female speakers from the area. It was exciting to see STEM in action and see how women are excelling in the field.”
